Consistency Rules
- Instant Funding GOAT – 15%, no single trading day can make up for more than 15% of your total profits during a payout period.
- Instant Funding Pro – 20%, no single trading day can make up for more than 15% of your total profits during a payout period.
Firm Rules
- Weekend Holding – Trades can be held over the weekend.
- News Trading – News trading is fully allowed. However, note that any trade opened or closed within 2 minutes before/after a high-impact news (as per Forex Factory) can generate a maximum profit of 1% of the account’s initial balance. Profits above this 1% will be removed, but will not result in a breach or any other penalty.
- “All or Nothing” Trading Strategy – Strategies that rely heavily on risk are not accepted at GFT. They define gambling-style trading as trades where more that 80% of the available margin is used in a single position.
- Goat Guard (Funded Accounts Only, Excluding Instant Funding) – If open trades reach a 2% loss of your account balance, Goat Guard will close all open trades on all symbols. Goat Guard being triggered does not stop you from trading. Repeated breaches come with increasing consequences:
- 1st Breach – No penalty.
- 2nd Breach – Profit split reduced to 50%.
- 3rd Breach – Account is breached.
- Risk Limitation Policy – GFT can set risk limitations on any trader’s accounts if they dem it necessary, such as but not limited to restricting risk per trade idea to a maximum of 1% of the account’s initial balance.
- Inactivity Limit – If no trades are placed on an account (Evaluation and Funded Accounts) for 30 consecutive days, the account will be breached.
- Daily Profit Limit – Traders on funded accounts can generate a maximum profit of $3,000 per day. Anything above this limit will be deducted from the account.

Payout Processing Time
- Payouts are processed with 2 business days. If GFT fails to process your reward within the timeframe, they will add a $500 bonus to your payout.
