Consistency Rules
- E8 One, Classic, Track (Trader Stage Only) – 40% best-day rule, meaning that no single trading day can exceed more than 40% of the total generated profits.
- E8 Signature (Trader Stage Only) – 35% best-day rule, meaning that no single trading day can exceed more than 35% of the total generated profits.
Firm Rules
- New Trading – News trading is allowed on Evaluation accounts. However, on the E8 Trader Stage, any trading activity 5 minutes before/after the release of high-impact news is prohibited. Any profits earned during this time will be removed, but will not constitute a breach of the account. - Scaling (E8 Track and Classic Only) – When a payout is requested, your initial starting balance will be scaled to the payout amount.
- Example: $10,000 profit requested on a $100k account. Starting balance scaled to $110,000 and with it so too will your Max Loss parameters.
- Lot Size Restrictions –
- Maximum Ticket Size – 50 lots.
- Maximum Ticket Size on XAUUSD – 20 lots.
- Overnight Holding – Allowed on all evaluations and all E8 Trader Accounts except for E8 Signature Accounts.
- Inactivity Rule – Must place and close a trade once every 60 days; the count starts from the time of purchase.
- Martingale Strategy and EAs – Both are allowed. Traders can use any EAs as long as multiple users are not executing the same strategy. Be aware of serve request limitations though, which is capped at 2000 requests.
- Daily Pause (E8 Signature Only) – Protective feature that pauses your trading until the next trading day. The allowance is calculated by 2% of your initial balance which you cannot exceed in losses.
