Consistency Rules
- Only on the Funded Account – 30% Consistency Rule, largest day's profit cannot exceed 30% of the total profit.
- Resets after a payout.
- Applies until the 6th Payout or until the account is transferred to a Live Prop Trading Account
Firm Rules
- Minimum Trading Days (on evaluation) – Unless there are active 1-day-pass promotions, must complete a minimum of seven non-consecutive trading days for a valid evaluation.
- Trade Close-Out Timing – All trades must be closed before 4:59PM ET.
- Contract Scaling Rule – Traders restricted to trading half of their maximum contracts for a given account until they reach the trailing threshold stop.
- 30% Negative P&L Rule – The loss a trader can incur on the live, unrealised negative P&L cannot exceed 30% of the account’s profit balance at the start of the day.
- 5:1 Risk-Reward Ration Rule – Cannot exceed 5:1 risk-to-reward ratio on a given trade.
- One Direction Rule – Can only hold a position in one direction are a time. Prohibited from holding open orders for both sides of the market.
- Total Limit of 20 Active PA Accounts across all people in the same house, companies and connections as well as across all trading platforms offered on Apex Trader Funding.
- Copy trading is allowed under your personal name and business name. The hedging rule still applies meaning that all accounts must trade in the same direction on correlated assets.

- Must meet the following criteria for a payout:
- 8 Trading Days – Have completed at least 8 trading days on the account.
- Profit on 5 Days – Out of those 8 days, 5 must show a profit of $50 or more.
- Safety Net – Applies for the first 3 payouts. That is your drawdown limit plus $100.
- Consistency Rule – No single trading day profits account for more than 30% of the total profit balance at the time of requesting a payout.
- Payout – If the safety net is met, a payout of the minimum amount of $500 can be requested. To request a payout above $500, the balance must exceed the safety net threshold by the payment amount requested.

Payout Processing Time
- Apex reviews your payout request within 2 business days.
- If approved, funds are paid out within 3-4 business days.
- Your bank/payment provider will usually process the deposit within 3-7 days.

Trailing drawdown starts at the liquidation threshold. As account balance increases, the trailing drawdown follows the peak unrealised balance until it becomes fixed.
- Full Accounts:
- Max drawdown stops trailing once the liquidity threshold reaches the initial balances plus $100.
- The trailing threshold stops moving once your unrealised balance exceeds the starting balance by the drawdown amount plus $100.
- Static Accounts:
- The drawdown level stats unchanged. For example, a 100k Static account has a set drawdown at $99,375
